1. Coordinator of WWW Communications

Eastern Connecticut State University invites qualified candidates to
apply for the position of Coordinator of WWW Communications in the
department of Information Technology Services.   Duties include
development and maintenance of University's web pages and assisting
faculty in web-based curriculum development. 

Qualifications include: Bachelor's Degree; web page development
experience; total web-site management; strong HTML, JAVA and Javascript
skills; working knowledge of Windows-based network administration and
UNIX; significant graphic design experience.  Excellent organizational,
interpersonal, oral, written and presentation skills are required.
Supervisory experience is a plus.  Degree qualification may be waived
for individuals possessing appropriate alternate experience within a
university setting.

2. University Grants Officer

Eastern Connecticut State University seeks an energetic and experienced
professional to work with faculty and staff in preparing successful
grant proposals. 

Masters degree required, Doctoral degree helpful.  A successful record
of developing and preparing proposals and obtaining grants from federal,
state and private sectors essential; three to five years of grant
seeking and grant management in an academic environment; ability to work
with others as a team member; willingness to perform under deadlines;
superior skills in oral and written communications; and ability to seek
out and stimulate faculty to pursue grants.
