Public Relations.  The Communication Department, Eastern Connecticut
State University, seeks to hire an assistant professor in public
relations.  With competitive salary and fringe benefits, the position is
being searched for tenure-track placement.  Ph.D. required.  ABD near
completion considered.  The starting date is August 2006.  The
successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in public
relations and courses in the organizational management graduate program.
Expertise in public relations management, theory, and techniques
expected along with professional public relations experience.
Experience or teaching in advertising a plus.  Candidate is expected to
advise students and engage in scholarly activity and service.  Screening
will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
