Assistant Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management

Eastern Connecticut State University seeks applicants for the position
of Assistant Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management.  Under
the supervision of the Director, the Assistant Director is responsible
for all aspects of the marketing, recruiting, and enrollment of
qualified first-time and transfer students.  The Assistant Director will
have responsibility for the development and implementation of strategies
to recruit and enroll a diverse student body.  Additional duties
include:  inquiry and application generation, application management,
participation in on- and off-campus activities to recruit students and
promote the university. The successful candidate will have a bachelor
degree, a minimum of three years in higher education, and demonstrated
commitment to diversity.  Experience recruiting a diverse student body
to a four-year, liberal arts university strongly preferred.  Superior
oral, written, and computer skills, and willingness to travel required.

Eastern Connecticut State University invites applications for the
following vacancy in the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics:

Head Women's Field Hockey and Women's Lacrosse Coach 

Full-time appointment begins August 2006.  Responsibilities:  All
aspects of coaching and program development for both varsity programs
within institutional, conference and NCAA Division III regulations,
inclusive of scheduling, budget management and recruitment and retention
of student-athletes.  Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required,
Master's degree preferred.  Evidence of successful experience as a head
coach or substantial assistant experience in collegiate field hockey and
lacrosse, as well as evidence of strong recruitment of student-athletes
within institutional guidelines.
